What problem would you like to solve?

People feeling unsafe in the streets

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

So people feel safe while walking

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Training for regular people, so they learn tools of protection, self-defense, awareness. Training for business owners to shelter people coming in from a dangerous situation and call the police. For example, a woman is being followed so she runs into a bar and the bartender helps and calls the police.

Who would that help?

All people of Sunset Park

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

Sunset Park, Brooklyn
