The People's Housing

What problem would you like to solve?

New York Housing

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

During Covid, rent was able to drop in order to help out unfortunate people who have lost their jobs. However with inflation, and global situations, rent has skyrocketed in these homes, especially on apartments with very poor conditions, as New York at the same time is getting gentrified, from brooklyn and the bronx.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

renovating at low cost, but enough to pay workers

Who would that help?

NYC communities, homeless, etc.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Bronx
