What problem would you like to solve?

Rats, vermin and garbage full of compostable material that goes to landfill and doesn't. Underutilized compost pick up services. Sanitation trucks schlepping to far away locations to go to landfills when compost can be managed more locally.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

We have too much garbage that should not be in garbage bags that spill and take up our landfills. services are available to pick up compost but because building owners and managers are not aware it is under utilized and don't get the economies of scale.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Make sure building owners and managers are aware of composting pick up services that are available to their buildings

    Who would that help?

Everyone who walks on sidewalks, are affected by landfills and transportation of garbage to landfills.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Manhattan
