Community and Childhood Education about Community Needs

What problem would you like to solve?

We need more education, including tutoring and career and technical education.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because we can help solve many of the community's issues, and the community needs to be educated on what's going on.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Educate children and adults in the community on topics like safety, garbage cleanup, youth centers, job training, housing help, jobs for those recently released from prison, the rise in diabetes hypertension and asthma in poor neighborhoods, and budget cuts to senior programs. Teach the children and the community what services exist and how to advocate for better services.

Who would that help?

This would help the people who live in my borough, the Bronx, the borough with the highest level of poverty, the largest number of evictions, and the last in health (#not62 external-link(External link)).

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Bronx.
