Littering the streets

What problem would you like to solve?

There is a lot of litter on the streets of Brooklyn. I live in Midwood and I see a lot of litter everywhere. Streets are really dirty. That’s awful. It attracts rats and parasites, negatively affects our health.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Clean streets are our good health and safety for children and pets.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

1. to oblige city utilities to clean the streets more often, to give people jobs to clean the streets. 2. oblige households and owners of commercial real estate to clean the adjacent territory from garbage, 3. support community initiatives and volunteers to clean the streets

Who would that help?

environment, people, pets
