Young Entrepreneurs

Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

Young adults lack entrepreneurship skills as they do not often have much exposure to the process of opening a business

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Building entrepreneurship skills in youth would strengthen business development, stabilize the economic situation of young adults and allow them to plan for their education and career.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Entrepreneurship group of youth ages 16-20. The group visits businesses and learn about opening and sustaining a business, paying wages, establishing a budget, etc.

Who would that help?

Youth ages 16-22

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

Manhattan
