What problem would you like to solve?

Homelessness

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Eliminating homelessness would take people out of poverty, safeguard the basic right to housing, and improve public safety and economic stability

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Utilize existing buildings/ dwellings that are currently uninhabited and use them to temporarily house people who are experiencing homelessness. These places would also have an educational project that would teach people experiencing homelessness job training and skills, and would also support building mental health resiliency through counseling.
