What problem would you like to solve?

Lack of knowledge around NYC resources. Recent immigrants do not know which services they can access either through the city of New York, or through nonprofit organizations.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It is important to link the community to important resources

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Utilize existing public spaces like public schools, nonprofits or libraries, as a one-stop-shop for resources. Where recent immigrants can learn how to enroll children in school, access health services, learn that 311 and 911 have interpretation in multiple languages, and learn that they have rights as workers, as women, and as tenants.
