Food insecurity and immigrant unemployment

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Fair employment for immigrants and health accessible food supports our community's health and economic growth.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Utilize existing space at restaurants, nonprofits, governmental agencies, where a group of immigrant cooks/ chefs can utilize the kitchen/ dining area. The group would cook and serve accessible-cost meals to the local public and the money earned would go straight to the immigrant cooks.
