Kids without adult supervision afterschool while parents/guardians are working. Build intergenerational relationships.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

If kids aren't engaged they may get into trouble and don't have the benefit of help with homework or other help.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Create a school or community center based drop in program with classes taught/offered by members of the community. For example, cooking, history of the neighborhood, what is was like to grow up in NYC back in the day.
