Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

The expense that comes out of our pockets is disproportionate to the standard of living we get. No one should have to face nor be on the verge of homelessness in a first world country, especially in the nation's greatest city.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Make affordable homes a priority so every New Yorker has a fair chance to a dignified living. No one should be on the verge of homeless nor have to choose/prioritize between either paying rent/mortgage or for [higher] education.
