What problem would you like to solve?

Families with low income have access to affordable HEALTHY foods.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Statistically, the Bronx is the most unhealthiest borough and the most that disinvested in NY. Our community continues to have food insecurities, instead of having HEALTHY foods surrounding us we have all the fast food chains. These are considered as affordable but not necessarily healthy.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

I believe that funding should be given to community organizations around the Bronx so that they can provide these healthy foods to their communities. Community organizations because they work closely with their community and the people they serve.

    Who would that help?

    Community organizations

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Borough: Bronx
