The lack of health professionals in our communities that have lived in our areas and can actually understand the complexity of the issues arising in the community.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

To combat homelessness, crime, depression, etc.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

More health professionals specifically for mental health in our communities. A special unit withing the NYPD or DOH.

Who would that help?

Those in need of mental health services.
