Safety & Security at Older Adult Centers

What problem would you like to solve?

More security and safety for older adults while they are at their second home in their community. Security guards should be made available at all older adult centers.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Older adults have been the target of assault now more than ever and providing extra safety in the form of security guards. Older adults should feel safe while they are at their second home socializing with long time friends while eating a nutritious meal and receiving a wealth of educational workshops geared to improve their well-being.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

More funding needed to absorb the cost of hiring security guards at each older adult center.
