Giving or Assisting with Work Permits for NYC Residents

I would like to solve the issue of the right to work and having a work permit to work.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because there are many undocumented NYC residents who are unable to work. This is relevant to the community because working residents generate income and can help build communities.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Have some temporary work permit system in NYC for undocumented residents or assist undocumented residents with the process for obtaining work permits from USCIS.

Who would that help?

This would benefit undocumented immigrants and the whole community at large
