What problem would you like to solve?

Gaps in experiences of young people citywide. Some get opportunity in life for travel and experiences that enhance there chances/opportunities to compete and participate in life

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

NYC is a global city but NYers don't get the same access to travel and experience the world, learn language and culture. Need to level the playing field - what percentage of NYers have passports?

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Create program with the Department of Education to facilitate it - doesn't have to be international travel, could be within the US where students go live with others and experience their lives with them

Who would that help?

Would help both the participants from NYC, and those where they end up
