Changes at "Safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth"

What problem would you like to solve?

LGBTQ+ youth go through many challenges every day and sometimes aren't accepted in their own homes, having a safe space for them to go to can relieve any stress they go through on a daily basis.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Everyone has the right to live life the way they choose to. They shouldn't be disowned or discriminated against because of their sexuality and or gender expression, but unfortunately, not everyone is as accepting as they should be.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Having counselors at community centers where LGBTQ+ youth can go to speak about their problems and help them with any problem they are going through. Sometimes they need to seek shelter because they are not accepted in their own homes, sometimes they are just going through mental health problems and don't realize they can be helped.
