Acting/dancing/karate/kickboxing programs for children and teens

What problem would you like to solve?

Children and teens need more after school programming, and there are currently no affordable options for those interested in acting and dancing, especially so for acting. People supporting this idea also suggested low-cost karate and kickboxing classes as well.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This program would make children more confident and more comfortable with themselves as well as give them something productive to do with their time.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

A program should be created to offer affordable acting, dancing, karate and kickboxing instruction to children and teens. This might need to be split into two programs as acting and dancing go well together as do karate and kickboxing.

Who would that help?

It would help children, teens and parents in the Bronx who need fun, educational after school programming.
