What problem would you like to solve?

The problem I would like solved is the crime that is happening against seniors and children. Living in today's society, many people are fearing going to work even because they are scared of what is around the corner when walking in this neighborhood.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important to solve because no one should live in fear especially in the place in which they live. This is relevant to the community because it is happening consistently every where in the Bronx. Kids, seniors and regular adults feel as though the crime has not gotten better but has been getting worst.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

The idea I have to address this issue is to create more programs for people in the community to attend and spend their time at to limit the times that they are outside as well as create some what of a neighborhood watch program that allows for some sort of surveillance or security to be watching and potentially limit the violence. The act of patrolling can assist people in feeling more safer.
