Give your idea a short title:

What problem would you like to solve?

Teens and youths need activities and programming to keep them off the streets.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Youths, especially teens, that have nothing to do are more likely to get into trouble.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Create a youth basketball league aimed at high school and even college age youths. Include academic standards as a condition for playing in the league as a way to encourage good grades. Perhaps do this as expanded PAL or through a program called \"Shoot for the Stars.\"

    Who would that help?

This would benefit teenagers who participate in the program.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

    Bronx
