Essential

Education and Public Safety

Avatar: Community Member Community Member

What problem would you like to solve?

Education spending in public schools; public transit safety; and government controls on guns and marijuana.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

If government doesn't put more education spending in public schools the public schools have to cancel some A.P. courses which results in less learning. There is a lot of crime, everyone cannot take the train/subway; there are very scary, crazy people. We have no safety.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Increase public transit safety. The government should severely punish criminals.

Who would that help?

Mayor and Schools Chancellor.

What NYC borough would benefit from your idea?

all boroughs
