What problem would you like to solve?

The disconnect between students, the way they learn, and the way teachers teach them.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

It is important to solve because it would encourage more kids to stay in school by changing their feelings and perceptions about education.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Increased mandatory professional development workshops for all teachers to teach them how to properly teach children, accounting for their SEL needs, IEP accommodations, academic goals, and overall personal life goals.

Who would that help?
