What problem would you like to solve?

Create workshops for Street vendors and invest in making their stands more uniform. Same tents, tables, space, and garbage cans in each section

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Corona Plaza is a community park that brings thousands of families together to celebrate our Hispanic culture, and it also brings many organizations together allowing them to organize community events offering FREE resources for the community. It's important that Corona Plaza maintains a professional, clean and safe space for the community.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Schedule monthly workshops with QEDC and Street Project Vendors in educating street vendors and the community on how to properly use the space, maintain a clean space, and how the community and entrepreneurs can support each other in making Corona Plaza a valuable, safe, clean place in our community. Workshops will also allow street vendors to learn more about how to run a successful business and how to grow their business in NYC
