Creative Workshop for Youth. A creative writing program to give the local youth an opportunity to express themselves and use writing as an outlet for social and emotional Issues they are facing. The local youth are experiencing major social and emotional crisis due to the pandemic. They need an outlet for these big issues and emotions that they are dealing with. A writing program will give them an outlet for expression, and has many long term benefits. Writing helps kids communicate ideas more effectively, and creative writing helps kids process stress and trauma.
