What problem would you like to solve?

Immigrant communities have non choice, but to learn English. Through generations, literacy rates and understandings of one's native language weaken.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Intercultural communication is what makes the world a better place. Queens is one o the most culturally diverse cities in the World, and preserving the community's belief in inclusion is important.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

In his spare time, Imam Idriz offers Arabic education to those interested. BHICY would like to expand this program and creating a curriculum that potentially satisfies the requirements of high school and college credit foreign language credits.
