Shared usage of the elementary school rooftop at PS20

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

The neighbourhood kids grow up in an urban environment, they do not have knowledge of farms and food production

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Have a growbox system with local neighbourhood volunteers/workers to help grow fresh fruits and vegetables

Who would that help?

empower the local community and support access to fresh food
