What problem would you like to solve?

The systems of oppression built into Public safety services needs to be deeply reformed, There needs to be a change made to the system that is inherently racist, harmful, and full of people who probably mean well but feed into these systems of harmfulness.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Its importance relies on the fact of people are dying and ending up on the news and their families are putting themselves into debt trying to bring justice for themselves and others but the system also protects the people that caused the issue in the first place.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

There should be a public system where complaints could be taken seriously and be investigated in the process to figure out the truth. This could be seen by the public and that system could be later developed into something more advanced and then we might see a difference. Also, there should be courses on ignorance and bigotry.

Who would that help?

The public, the good people in the harmful system, and more.
