What problem would you like to solve?

I’d like to increase the sense of community by investing in more street art and murals while also caring for the sidewalks and community structures. Around 125/126 and Amsterdam I’ve seen the newspaper container that had fallen over be left that way for weeks. The sidewalk needs to be fixed and cleaned up. There needs to be an investment in the area.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

We need to show our community we care. That same attention the streets and sidewalks get at 115 and Amsterdam. It’s hurtful that things dont get addressed or cleaned. It’s relevant because this is our community area. I’ve seen the same feces on the ground for weeks. The trash is not picked up.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

I would like to have the sidewalks fixed and painted. Local artists or organizations could help with murals. The city could fix the broken stuff and pick up the trash
