Building Healthier Neighborhoods

Avatar: Official proposal Official proposal

What problem would you like to solve?

Local residents need access to farm fresh food and bicycle confidence programming.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This is important in our community because we need help to access fresh nutritious food and bicycle education.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

The 501 (c) 3 project needs to extend funding, marketing and communication to get the people fresh foods. They also need to extend youth outreach during growing season and pay for the Bronx micro hauling service.

Who would that help?

This would help low income families and those who are on government assistance.

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

Belmont and East Tremont
