What problem would you like to solve?

Sunset Park is not safe anymore. There is a lot of crime, and people don't feel safe. Residents do not feel safe walking alone at night. Also, a lot of robberies and violent crimes.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

The lives of people depend on public safety. Communities in Sunset Park need to overcome the public safety challenges they have been facing as a result of COVID-19, rising anti-Asian hate crimes, and the subway shootings that happened in June.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Launch a public education campaign to promote and provide informative and relevant crime prevention and public safety information.
