Library Furniture For Teens

Avatar: Official proposal Official proposal

What problem would you like to solve?

Briarwood Library has a small teen area where teens could sit down to use computers. But there are NO Table and chairs for them to site down to do whatever they need to do.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Students from Archbishop Molloy Hight School across the street come to the library to study and socialize. They sometimes have to compete with adults to get a seat in the adult area. Or they just have to leave the library.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Create a small comfortable inviting seating area for the teens, preferably with electric outlets/charging stations.

Who would that help?

The Young People

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

Briarwood
