Block Association: Clean Up and Neighborhood Support Hub

What problem would you like to solve?

We need more advocacy and organization at the block association level and support for seniors especially with seasonal raking and shoveling.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

This would help strengthen organizing at the hyperlocal level and provide need support services to seniors in the community.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

I would like to create a toolkit to help blocks formalize their block associations and designate a neighbor's garage for tools that can be shared to get youth to shovel and rake especially for the hoes of seniors. It would be neighbors taking care of neighbors.
