Essential

Bridging the Gap of Technology for Seniors

Avatar: Official proposal Official proposal

What problem would you like to solve? Technology literacy for seniors and older adults (anyone over 50 years old with a lack of technology education or access)

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

Today you are asked to access your medical records, fill prescriptions, etc. via technology. There is a low literacy rate already in this neighborhood or a lack of wi-fi.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

Having a center or a place in the community like the local library with Tech experts (teachers/youth, students) to assist seniors in need.

Who would that help?

Seniors - also anyone over 50 years old with a lack of tech education or access too.

What neighborhood would benefit from your idea?

Bronx
