What problem would you like to solve?

There is a lack of economic power and civic knowledge in the community.

Why is it important to solve? Why is it relevant for the community?

We could help strengthen the community's foundation and provide things the community lacks like homeownership, remedial education, food sufficiency, financial literacy and diversification.

What idea do you have to address the problem?

We need a hyperlocal Community Bank that would eventually be a physical space but for now could be a series of trainings and community savings challenges to educate and empower the community on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, trusts and estates, investments, homeownership and life planning skills.
