poor quality housing safety - fear of attack lack of accessibility insufficient funding for afterschool programming limited access to healthy fitness orientated activities
Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
A series of fitness oriented events broadcasted via digital media (starting spring through fall) that include : - a beginner walker/runner program for parent & child, senior & caregiver - a beginner obstacle course program for younger and older adults - Fitness tik tok challenges in various Bronx neighborhoods with intergenerational group fitness for the digital age making it accessible for indoor/outdoor space for parent/child and senior and youth all activities could culminate into a season end community relay event
