Describe the challenge you want to address:
I want to address the inequalities and disadvantages faced by low and middle income families as well as those with mental disabilities.
Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
Financial literacy is the gateway to equality. The city has numerous educational programs that address this issue but the communities are not unaware of most of them. We need to have greater access to financial literacy and resources so that our communities can obtain better opportunities. A financial literacy program aimed at the youth might also help their parents to learn as well.
