Describe the challenge you want to address:
The challenge I want to address is low income families or residents that are struggling to pay their rent and are being pushed out of there homes or neighborhood forcing them to move, this issue is called gentrification. It can cause low income families or residents to have a difficult time to find a homes or possibly not live in the safest neighborhood.
Describe your idea and approach to address the challenge:
My idea is to find a program or two that helps low income families struggling to pay their rent or find homes and donate towards it. And if there isn't a program in Bushwick yet, I think the money should go to starting one and taking action immediately. And have it advertised in neighborhoods or communities that struggle the most from gentrification.
