#TraintheSup: Train Supervisors on How to Encourage/Enable Corrective Action from Subordinates
Not all Supervisors in City Government (1) receive training at the start of being a supervisor on how to get the most/best out of the people they supervise; (2) know how to issue a warning; (3) are able to attend outside training due to budget or time restraints. Anecdotally, some disciplinary proceedings fall apart on poor documentation/warnings which create labor/legal headaches for the City and problematic precedents. #TraintheSup makes Supervisory training mandatory for newbies.

The best way to motivate employees to participate in training is by making every course practical and relevant. foremostpayonline.com Analyze performance objectives, ask employees what they’re struggling with or how they could improve, and then give them the training they need to get better at their jobs.
Thanks,

It's important for all supervisors in City Government to receive proper training to ensure they are equipped with the skills to effectively manage their teams. The lack of training can result in issues https://amsterdamplumber.nl/ with employee performance and disciplinary proceedings, which can create legal headaches for the City. #TraintheSup is a great initiative that makes supervisory training mandatory for new supervisors, which can lead to better outcomes for both employees and the City.
