Develop a Knowledge Transfer SOP or Pipeline for Key (subject matter experts) Retired/Resigned Employees - for all agencies
Too many times over my 14+ years of city service that I have seen KNOWLEDGEABLE CITY EMPLOYEE OR SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS leave service without the agency really having a structured way or pipeline to capture key insight into the working of a system, process or history. Often times this is key information to move progress, provide staff with needed info and/or to build better. I propose a SOP/pipeline be developed throughout all agencies and Independent contractor opportunities be provided.
