City Staff Ideas Challenge
#nycspeaks2022 Share your ideas for bold actions the Mayor should take
What is 911? Should you call for a stuffy nose? What is a medical emergency?
My proposal is to bring public awareness on when to call 911 for medical emergencies. The EMS system at any given day receives up to 6k calls a day. New Yorkers need to understand that a stubbed toe, or running out of adult diapers is not a medical emergency. There needs to be a public campaign to bring awareness to what is a real medical emergency. There are too many calls where people abused the 911 system.

Truly, this article is really one of the very best in the history of articles. I am a antique ’Article’ collector and I sometimes read some new articles if I find them interesting. And I found this one pretty fascinating and it should go into my collection. Very good work! peacock promo
