Annual and Family Leave to match global and developed standards
Withdrawn
City workers receive the bare minimum, if not less, in Annual and Family Leave.
In most of the world and developed nations, workers receive:
At least 4/52 weeks in paid time off (vacation). City is 2-3/52 weeks.
At least 4 months full pay in family (parental) leave. City is 3 months 66% paid, or 30 days full pay depending on Agency.
We should right-size NYC to match global standards and developed nations, we should be the example!
