Building vocational skills
Every NYCHA complex in NYC should have a range of vocational technical training on premises. These kinds of training should be offered to NYCHA residents to help build working class skills And help our youth with a career path. College is not for everyone, but people have skills and if they develop a craft it can help them get work or even possibly work for the city and keep people out of the street and committing crimes.

Great idea, I suggest expanding it city-wide.
yes, I agree and add job placement as well. I also think should have another track to support and mentor youth in NYCHA who are good prospects for college and other professions. Particularly BIPOC children and youth for mental health and medical fields, including mentoring, tutoring, and tuition assistance.
Great idea! All kinds of skills, not just job skills... cooking, knitting, first aid, financial literacy, in addition to computer and high-tech skills like operating a 3-d printer.
