Confiscate & destroy dirt bikes and ATV’s
Confiscated the ilegal dirt bikes & ATV’s that go up & down the streets as if they own the road. They usually ride in large groups, ignore traffic lights, and terrorize people on the sidewalks. It is a serious safety concern for pedestrians & motorist. They don’t have licenses plates, therefore no way of tracking them. They have no place on city streets – they are not inspected, they have not had to pass a written test, pass a road exam or maintain a license & insurance.

Yes, I totally agree on this and hope this becomes a priority because these delinquents need to know the rules. I see them constantly on the sidewalk, taking red lights almost hitting pedestrians, take off people’s mirrors for whit lining on the street. Enough is enough!!!
I couldn't agree more about this issue. The noise pollution, potential danger, violence and disrespect for other users of the road is out of control and only gets worse in the summer. I loathe the sight and sounds of these vehicles. They need to face fines, jailtime and destruction of the bikes and ATVs.
I agree they are a nuisance.
AGREE! They do terrorize people. Just yesterday, I saw a group of people riding ATVs and dirt bikes doing wheelies on Queens Blvd. NYPD officers right on site doing nothing. I asked why weren't they doing anything and one officer's response was that they "have been instructed not to pull them over". Why? "Don't know"
I am all for electrical mopeds--they are much better for the environment [air quality and all] but they need to be regulated; most do not have plates and just like the ATVS and dirt bikes they go on the sidewalks, against traffic, three people riding on top of each other, no helmet, etc. This has got to stop.
