Bicycle Infrastructure Overhaul
Bicycle lanes should be moved onto sidewalks with one lane consistent with traffic flow and have small curb cuts to separate bikes from cars/pedestrians. Non recreational cyclists should take safety classes and obtain a license. Color coordinated bike lanes green for all, red restricted for non recreational cyclists. Cyclist hubs that act like rest stops, where citi bikes could be rented and also be able to check tire pressure etc. This overhaul would be a multi pronged Boon to the City.

MacKenzie, I said non-recreational cyclists, as in the person using the bike lanes for 40 hours a week to make for profit deliveries, that are more inclined to violate traffic laws to make a quicker delivery, not the person traveling to and from work 4 hours a week. I don’t think you should ride off (pun intended) cars. Cycling is a seasonal hobby are only really good for 9 months a year, weather permitting. Not to mention, some people aren’t in shape to ride bikes.
This will annoy many traditional cyclists. They see the e-bike as cheating. Or for old people who don’t have the strength to pedal. However, something is happening, here, that should make any cyclist happy. https://tractorsinfo.com/mathswatch-login/
