#nycspeaks2022 Share your ideas for bold actions the Mayor should take
The city has a serious rodent infestation on it's hands. The quality of our lives in the city is a disgrace between inflation, cost of living and crime. Now on top of this we have to deal with these critters. Clean up the train stations and the streets and these so called vendors who sell anything. This contributes to the garbage left on the street which is never picked up and creates a breeding ground for rats as they venture from these commercial areas into people backyards.

Agree. Look into city-provided, rodent-proof bins for all and seek ways to eliminate plastic bags on the streets. Coordinate clean-up across boroughs so that the problem doesn't simply move next door.
