While I agree with this notion to make employees more productive, they will just tell us go work for another company then. They will tell us NYC employees are too needy and entitled. The truth is there is absolutely no motivation to come to work. The office isn't fun. The policies are too rigid. No relaxed clothing. Of course, I'm not saying employee should come in naked but relax everything. I know a certain company that gave their employees company credit card to shop for a comfortable work from home furniture and devices. Anything to make them comfortable and do the work. The least amount an employee got on the company credit card was $3,000. Folks even have 2 monitors, supplies, refreshments and guess what, the employer actually said production went up by over a 1000%. They canceled their lease at the building they occupied and spread the money on employees' wages and income.
