"Green Screens" at NYC Parks
The wall and floor of selected NYC Parks handball courts can be painted green to become a backdrop for making videos. Basically, these would be public outdoor studios, where individuals or dance groups can film videos for their social media. Kids are stuck to their phones. This program would encourage the youth to spend more time in our parks and be creative using our city resources. A Summer program partnering with the Parks recreation centers can help kick-off this new and fun resource.

This seems infinitely affordable, really fun, and a great way for folks to get their creativity out there in a city known for its media industry.
If handball courts are too busy and booked, there must be other walls somewhere in the city where this is possible.
While I do like this idea of creating green screens for kids to get creative, I find it to be counterproductive to take away space from kids and adults that use handball courts in the parks for physical activity and recreation. I rarely see those courts not being utilized in all the neighborhoods that I've lived in, and it would be a shame to see people hogging those spaces to pose and create web content.
As the previous poster said, there could be other walls in the city for this purpose.
