Cost Of Living Keeps Increasing
As you know, the cost of living keeps increasing and city workers are not receiving their yearly raises. Currently, the city hospital employees has not received a raise in 3-4 years now and with the cost of living continuing to rise. City Workers have and continue to endure during the pandemic, to provide quality service, while trying to remain safe. I just ask that all City Employees receive yearly raises.

As everyone should know, the Mayor, finally put together a contract for Hospital Employees regarding raises and incentives. Some would say, we won a great battle and others would say, that contact that was presented was a slap in the face, because those increases in salary will never catch up to the growing economy we are all experiencing. I continue to ask this question, at what point does elected officials understand what is a livable wage/income looks like? In order to get the economy right, people should be making a livable wage. Your thoughts on the contact that was received.
