Workers cooperatives
Workers Cooperatives are an integral part of economic development today.
Workers Cooperatives is a democratic workspace, where workers own the business. Owning a business together is also building communities and supporting each other through collective ownership.
Workers Cooperatives can organize themselves and become unionized entities. Cooperatives thrive on mission-driven entrepreneurship which eradicates corporate greed.

Conversation with Jesse Meyerson
I support workers' cooperatives, but what is the proposal here? Help incubating them? Subsidizing them with City funds? Partnering startup co-ops with established businesses or converting traditional businesses to a co-op model?
All of it, it would support city workers as well as our own clients to pull them out of poverty. Incubate, contract them to source from cooperatives etc. The proposal has character limit ,so couldn't expand :-)
Thank you for the support.
