Totally agree. Mayor Adams thinks building containers to store trash bags will solve the city's trash problem, but that's only a band-aid. We need to re-think our waste collection system as a whole. Unfortunately, curbside residential composting got taken away and is only returning in some communities now. If we can't make that work, we should at least increase the number of drop-off sites to include public buildings & city agencies; or at the very least, have composting receptacles in our office kitchens so that our offices crease less waste.
